Couldn't recommend more highly King Moving Company. We dreaded our move with two small children in the house and they made the move a breeze. Omar was knowledgable and helpful in all my scheduling and logistics questions and if you can request a crew (*this is the most important part*) REQUEST ALFONSO, ZHAIR and LORENZO. They were the nicest guys and I truly was sad when they left at the end of the day. So polite, clean, respectful, helpful, nice and even played with my kids. If you want a move to go seamlessly, call King Moving Company. You won't be disappointed. I should also add that I had quite a few large antique pieces that I was very concerned with transporting and had nothing to worry about. Nothing was damaged and everything was perfectly packed and unpacked to my satisfaction. ~ Amy R

We had a great experience with King Moving. We selected King Moving because of their great reviews, their reasonable rates, and also because they offer full replacement insurance coverage for a reasonable fee. The crew (Maverick, Eddie, and Rigo) arrived on time, and they immediately got to work. The crew was great and fun to work with, and they worked very diligently throughout the move, in a very professional and workmanlike manner. I should also point out that we moved on an extremely hot day, from a one story house to a 2 story house, and even in the extreme heat the crew worked very hard. Our furniture was handled well, and ultimately we got a great move at a very reasonable price. If we ever move again we would certainly use King Moving. ~ Scott B

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Carlos and his team were absolutely incredible. I called King Moving after my parents used them to move my brother from Dallas to Austin a month ago. King Moving did that move in 4 1/2 hours (including drive time). Carlos was actually the one who moved my brother so it was great he was here with his crew to help with my move. They helped move me out of a 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor in Addison to a 1 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor in The Colony. All in all, the entire move took less than an hour. King Moving (especially Carlos' team) are incredibly friendly, efficient, and trust worthy. I will recommend them to everyone I know and continue to use them whenever I move in the future. ~ Shahnavaz M

We recently used King Moving Co. for a move to our new home. The rates were very competitive, but I was nervous that everything would not fit into the trailers that they pulled, so Carlos did a virtual call with me to walk through everything we would be moving the day of the move. Carlos was very professional/courteous and assured that it would all fit, and he was right. Joseph, Eddie, and Joe did an outstanding job with the move. They were friendly and professional, and they were extremely efficient. The three of them were very careful with all of the breakable items and managed not to damage a single item. The move took much less time than expected, which was a great surprise. Would certainly recommend them to anyone and look forward to using them again in the future! ~ Collin B

Everything went PERFECT! The crew was the best and they showed up on time. It was very early in the morning and they came with smiles and all!! They were professional, friendly and very careful with my items. I wasn't expecting them to wrap my furniture because they were small pieces but they did and treated my stuff with great care. They moved everything as I asked and without fuss. They also moved the bulky items like my washer, dryer and fridge and reconnected everything in my new home. They helped take down my bed frame as I couldn't do this on my own and I'm glad I didn't because it looked challenging lol. Great experience! I put out a job request to move my small business. 5 businesses responded on yelp. Two responded immediately which was helpful. King movers responded with the time slots and pricing they had available. I called them and asked for more information and booked the move. I chose them because they had great prices and specific dates in the next couple days. The experience was great. They gave me good communication and showed up on time. They were polite and VERY hard working! Adrian and his crew took great care to wrap my furniture well. Everything was moved without any damage. Their prices were fair and exactly as expected. King Moving Co. is by far the best moving company we’ve used. Being in the military for over 23 years, we’ve had our shares of moving pains. Mr. Omar A. did the pre-move walk-through in person where he provided me with an estimate and gave me tips on how to prepare for a smooth move. He stayed in communication with me throughout the move. Team Carlos (Jav, Marcos, drazon Juan, and Carlos) showed up on time to wrap, load and unload our household items diligently. They treated our furniture as if it was their own. We ended up needing two trucks instead of one. Mr. King, the owner of the company, personally called and arranged a second truck the same evening to honor the estimated quote—free of charge. I've moved a lot of times in my 50+ years and this was absolutely the best experience. The initial phone conversation with Mary Lou in the office was pitch-perfect, and they followed up by text multiple times to confirm and reassure me of the move date. The crew showed up right on time, and wowwww at how Joey was able to maneuver the truck and trailer in my tiny dead end street! Wayne, Joey and George were competent and caring. They had to navigate countless trips up and down two flights of stairs in the Texas summer heat. Communication throughout the day was excellent. I had originally planned to move my family heirloom antiques, art and plants myself (trust issues, ha) , but after seeing them work I happily trusted them to move it all. Five stars - I'd give 10 stars if I could. ~ Lin W

Initial 2-star review I've used king movers three times this past year. Been a crazy house selling/renting fiasco. The last move just wasn't great. I don't know if the crew was tired or what but they were slow. They damaged things that weren't costly but had sentiment. Just disappointed. I had used them once more eight years ago and they were "fantastic". I guess it depends on the crew you get. Not even 30 minutes after this review, Grant contacted me. He was able to see the times of my moves, and the longest (the bad review), should have been the fastest based on stuff moved (no fridge, no washer). He gave me a fair rectification. Really impressed that in today's world that still exists. So maybe I'll give them a shot again if they'll have me. ~ Lindsey P

I hired King Moving Company to move a large, heavy piece of furniture into our home from the garage, where it was delivered. I had an issue with my move scheduled for the wrong date, but the owner himself called me several times, apologized, and helped make it right. I really appreciated that. As for the movers, they were as good as they come. Very professional, handled my delicate furniture with care, and went through doorways without making any dings even though it was a tight fit. They even spent time to properly assemble the furniture & center it in the room. I liked the fact that they didn't waste any time. They completed the job in about 40 minutes. If I ever need to move in the future, I will contact this company again. ~ Deepal P

King Moving Co provided a superb experience. I contacted them since they began their business by moving antiques. Omar handled the logistics and was on his game. I am moving to Costa Rica and needed my household goods loaded into a container for a ship. I packed all my goods but had them wrap my furniture and bicycle. Joe, Edwin and Zahir are pros. My furniture looked like padded marshmellos when they finished the wrap. They strategically loaded the container and tied it well to go on the ocean. When the tow co put my car on the container, the guys remained with me and helped me secure the axels of my car, which was beyond the call of duty. Since I’m a female, it meant a lot to have them help with the car. They took so much care, it was as if they were moving their own furniture and car. Highly recommend. I hired them to move a single piece of furniture a while ago that other movers couldn't manage because it was a huge antique that wasn't able to separate. I told them about the situation beforehand and sent numerous pictures and measurements. They sent out a team of highly professional and kind movers to take care of it. The piece was difficult, but they managed to problem solve quickly and were even able to separate it (no thanks to whoever owned it lasted, who glued and nailed everything together). Since it was my first big antique, the situation was really daunting at first, but the guys from King Moving Co went above and beyond to help. They even educated me on the piece I had since they deal a lot with antiques. I had such a great experience, I hope to use them in any future moves. They're the best! ~ Ann M

I highly recommend them! Moving is so stressful. I read reviews for these guys and it's why I chose them. And after one conversation with Cory to settle the details I knew it was the best choice. He assured me they would take care of us! They confirmed and reconfirmed our move. I didn't have to keep tabs on them and could concentrate on packing and utilities and saying goodbye to friends and family. We sold and needed to empty a house in Longview and moved from a small apartment to a larger one in Plano all the same day. So complicated. But not for them. The team made short work of loading and transporting and unloading all our things. With King Moving your money is well spent! It's peace of mind during a stressful time! ~ Melanie H

Excellent experience with King Moving. My crew was Javi, Carlos and Marco, and they were great. Showed up according to schedule, were amazingly efficient, and pleasant to work with. I have to give an extra star because I moved to a historic building in downtown, so parking was not easy for them and the tight turns and doorways of a hundred year old building did not make their job easier, but you would never know it as they just adjusted and got the job done without a scratch to any of my furniture or walls. I also appreciated the person who took my call. She was professional, friendly and obviously knew what she was doing. King is who I will use from now on whether moving across town, or cross country. ~ Larry J

If you are looking for a moving company that has its own employees and knows how to move high end items, this is the company to choose. They were professional, there was an issue but it was rectified immediately. Customer service is what they do. They took great care of my items and wrapped everything. They put my couches together and were willing to put everything together. They came with tools, supplies, boxes, shrink wrap and enough help. They didn’t hound me for anything. They even gave me Gatorade and water. I would definitely use them again as they are a full service moving company. They stand by their reputation and they should be the only company that you look to hire if you want quality movers. ~ Maddie B

I chose King moving Co. based on their reviews and their 32 foot long trailer compared to a 26 foot truck. Darryl and his team arrived early (!)/on time, had a great attitude, and thanks to their ingenuity, they were able to take more furniture than I had originally thought would fit. The estimated load/unload times were already much less than another estimate from another moving company and they still managed to cut that time down considerably making a long moving day with a 2 hour 40 minute drive very doable and over by around 2 pm. They took great care of my furniture and my house. Not only would I highly recommend them, I'll be using them again if I'm ever in need of a moving company. ~ Dee C

I am shook! These guys went above and beyond to help create what is normally a very stressful day into a very quick seamless move. I hired 2 crews (6 people and 2 trucks) to move from a single family home in Carrollton to a single family home in Prosper. It took them a total of 4 hours INCLUDING the 30 min drive! I've never had movers work so quickly and efficiently as them. They were kind, courteous, and hard working the entire time. They took apart all the necessary furniture and reassembled in the new home in that timeframe as well. They also moved our washer/dryer and refrigerator. Joe, Edwin, Rigo, Kane, Lorenzo, and Zahir - YOU GUYS ROCK!! Everything from the initial contact to move day was an enjoyable experience and they were very thorough in answering all my questions leading up to move day. I live outside of Dallas, and I had two days to have my daughter's apartment packed, loaded and put into storage. One call to King Moving Company, and it was done. Not just on time, but several hours early! These folks absolutely bent over backwards to assist in this unusual situation. It truly couldn't have been any easier, and the price was incredibly reasonable. They put my concerns to rest throughout the entire process. On the day following the move, one of the owners called me to make sure that I was happy with the service. This was absolutely outstanding service. I used them to help my move from Dallas to Irving. It was a last-minute request, but King Moving Company took care of me with ease. On moving day, they called beforehand to let me know when they were coming, and the movers were extremely professional and kind from beginning to end. It took less than 3 hours for them to move my items from one place to another! I was extremely pleased with their efficiency and customer service. Compared to other moving companies in the area, their prices were very competitive - no hidden fees, and they were very transparent. Joe, Edwin, and Bommer moved my daughter from Carrollton and did an amazing job. They were very careful and worked very well together to get the furniture up the stairs into her room without doing any damage to her furniture or our home. They were very professional so I called in for them to come move an electric bed from upstairs down. Otto, Kane, and Maus came and not originals but they did an amazing job getting bed down.The bed was about 300 pounds and I was definitely afraid for them but they watched out for each other and got the job done. We used King Moving Company this past weekend and were extremely impressed. They were on schedule, friendly and took great care when moving our items and were able to finish well under the estimated time required. A few days have gone by since the move and we have not noticed a single ding or scratch on anything. As if that weren't enough, we noticed a couple days after that our refrigerator lost its seal in the move. We assumed it was due to the door no longer being level. I called them to see if there was anything they could do, and they were quick to respond and send someone out to take a look and get it fixed. It turned out it was no fault of theirs, but an issue with the floors not being level at the new house. They were still able to help us get it leveled and solve the issue! I would definitely recommend King Moving to anyone looking for a solid moving company! ~ Chris C

Moving to Prosper, TX from Overland Park, KS in early December, 2020, and did not know much about moving companies at our destination. Researched a bit online and am thrilled I found King Moving Company! In December, we moved a 26' Uhaul truck, 12' Uhaul trailer, and an 8' Uhaul trailer to a rental home in Prosper. Gabriel, Jomar, and Jairo worked their tails off and moved everything int the house with ease and professionalism. We were even fortunate enough to have them move a bunch of our extra "stuff" into Uhaul Storage a few miles away. They came prepared and were able to put all of the beds together, set up the laundry room, and get us into storage in under 6 hours! All done during the Pandemic but with no complaints to wearing their masks. Great crew and great company that I look forward to using again when we finish our move in the next couple weeks! ~ Ryan W

3 young, professional, nice men showed up at my house on time to help us move furniture and other items from upstairs to Salvation Army. They got right to work and didn’t stop until they were done. Even though we were donating the items, they handled everything with care and didn’t damage any walls when trying to maneuver a very large and heavy Entertainment Center around a tight turn and down a steep flight of stairs. When we went to the McKinney Salvation Army, they couldn’t take my items because they didn’t have room, so the guys followed me to the Plano Salvation Army and unloaded the items there. They were great! I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them. ~ Valerie L

King Moving is by far the best movers I've used in the DFW area (if not the US!) Brandon, Miguel and Israel were quick, efficient, and incredibly careful. I have a lot of heavy antique furniture - they moved it with no problem! They treated my things like they were theirs - not just items to go on a truck. I fully recommend them to move antiques plus whatever else you may have. I truly felt they cared about not only my furniture, but about me as well. They checked in on how I was doing during the moving process (much appreciated!). If you are looking for a moving company - stop here.
